DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS

WHISPERS, TEASING, NAGGING AT MY HEART

THE PAIN AND THE SORROW IS A WAY TO START

DISTANT FEELINGS, HAPPINESS SO FAR AWAY

DEATH AND HIS FRIENDS ARE ALL HERE TO STAY

WHY DO I FEEL SO LONLEY, DISTANT FROM ALL THE REST

THIS IS A BURDEN TEARING AT MY CHEST

TEARS OF SORROW WILL STAIN MY CHEEKS ONE DAY

DEATH AND HIS FRIENDS WILL NEVER GO AWAY

THEN, IN THE CORNER OF THE OPEN SKY

IS A BRIGHT NEW HOPE DRYING THE TEARS I CRY

A NEW LIGHT, A WHITE LIGHT ON A CRISP DAY IN MAY

DEATH AND HIS FRIENDS HAVE ALL GONE AWAY
