A A A

With six-foot drifts caressing my front door
I wanted to dive head-first into the sea of white
I see millions of tiny diamonds
Laughing with the moon's reflection
She smiles down upon them like little children
Knowing they will soon fade away

I give in to the burning desire
and fall backwards
I feel the cold seep in quickly
as my hair sticks to my face
I look up at the sky as my body slowly sinks
and I feel a warmth from within as I close my eyes
