You tug me in,

Andhold me close

I let go, but can't be free
Youclaim not towant me

Buthow you smileclaims differently

I keep falling intoyour trap

Your brown eyes would need a map

Eyes like chocolate

Hair like charcoal

I want to be free, finally

Can't you see?

You have me on a leash

Everything about you

Everything about us

Everything I've been through

Everything you've been through

Everything we've been through

You don't even have to try

I know this summer will change things

So don't set your trap this time

I have to pull you to the side

Because Iwon't allow you to put me back onto this ride
