A full moon

A starry sky

A ghostly cloud just gliding by

A flutter here

A flitter there

A thousand bats to fill the air

The night is light

You can see for miles

Right across to the haunted Isles

The creaking trees

A howling dog

A distant haze of rolling fog

A lone figure

A church of holes

Silent murmers of forgotten souls
