A short poem on my opinion of the most contraversial "L" word. Love.

What is it truly?
Is it a feeling people share?
The want-no, need to do anything for them?
Is it what you feel when you see your favourite colour or hear your favourite song?
The pride you feel when you live to see your only child take their first step?
Down the alter?

Well, whatever it is, there are no boundaries.
True love is an unstoppable force, not to be reckoned with.
Passing no regard to race, religion or skin colour.
Past wars and sickness and miles.
Love lasts until the very last day of your life and continues or an eternity.
It is a flame that can’t be extinguished, it cannot be tampered with.

We will all feel it at some point in our lives, some from the very we were born, others after long hard years.
Our hearts belong to someone else and theirs to ours.
Despite all the hurdles in our lives, love will find a way.

Love, noun: An intense feeling of deep affection.
And so much more.
