Orange, brown, red and gold,

Twirling, spinning, dancing, they fall,

Dying so the young can live,

The greatest gift that they can give.

Falling like tears from the tallest trees,

Soft winds blow them through the street,

No one notices, no one sees,

They're simply rubbish, autumn leaves.
