It's killing me to tell you

That what I did was wrong,

I wish I could take it back,

But that time is long gone.

It's killing me to tell you

That I'm not really there,

I'm looking through a window,

Pretending you can hear.

I'ts eating me away,

You'll never understand

Why I had to leave,

Why I couldn't stay.

I'm beging you to listen,

I'm sorry, and it's true

I could have prevented this,

But then again, so could you.

It's killing me to tell you

That what I did was wrong,

But deep inside we both know;

It was your fault all along.
