Every time a single rain drop falls, so does a single sorrowful tear. See what happens to a single being as the rain falls.

Pounding against an open door.

Looking through to find nothing more.

To find what is nothing and see the dark.

Nowhere can you see the easy mark.

Running down the street in a hurry.

They continue to make my eyes blurry.

I run and run to try and catch up.

But I slip and slide like a newborn pup.

The smell and the scene.

I see the edge and what could have been.

A single raindrop falls from the sky.

And so does a single tear from my eye.

It burns a hole in my skin.

It makes me want to give up but I have to win.

It shatters the images and ruins the life.

And I burry deep down to take out the knife.

Tears stained a thousand times.

Fought over on silly crimes.

The lies repeat all over again.

All I ever wish for is for the pain to end.

Coming up and rising once more.

My knees buckle and I fall to the floor.

Again and again I try but I'm too weak.

I reach out my hand but there is no one to seak.

Now nothing is gone.

I fear I've done wrong.

Running away from my ugly past.

But no matter the forgotten, memories always last.

I shout and scream.

But no one can hear me.

I want to give up but I continue to call.

But no one is there, and so I fall.

Rain falls from the blood splattered sky.

I stare into the past to see where I lie.

It's coming back up and I try to close my eyes.

But they won't leave no matter how many tries.

Alone and scared with no one left to see.

Alone and scared with no one left to be.

I shatter like glass down to the ground.

And there is no way I can be found.

As the rain falls I try to find my voice.

But it's so far away and I feel something moist.

A single raindrop falls from the sky.

And so does a single teardrop from my eye.
