This is a SONG but I put it into poetry. We all believe in broken hearts. How someone or something we once loved took it and then stomped on it? Well what about broken tears? Do they come from the broken heart?

Lonely is the dark/

Lonely is the flaring spark/

Once more will you deny/

Everything that wasn't right

Pieces are breaking/

From all the pain that you're making/

They/

Fall/

Gently with no sound

Do you believe/

That someone must leave/

It won't be me/

Because at least I can see!

All these broken tears/

Running through my heart/

They burn from years/

Of you not loving me/

And I believe/

That everything you said were all just lies to me/

Because at least I can see....

All these broken tears

Whispers silently/

Darkness pushes through violently/

Trees swaying/

And you were only playing

We're falling apart/

And there lies my broken heart/

I can't breathe/

My lungs are screaming

Do you believe/

That someone must leave/

It won't be me/

Because at least I can see!

All these broken tears/

Running through my heart/

They burn from years/

Of you not loving me/

And I believe/

That everything you said were all just lies to me/

Because at least I can see....

All these broken tears

You took my hand/

You said to me/

That you believe in everything/

And I/

Thought that it might be real

Lies told of the death/

Making room for nothing left/

And I'm gone/

I'm set off on my own

All these broken tears/

Running through my heart/

They burn from years/

Of you not loving me/

And I believe/

That everything you said were all just lies to me/

Because at least I can see....

All these broken tears
