about lies in a relationship and having to believe its going to end

The smell of your breath.

Your fingertips on my neck.

The whispers in my ear.

The thought of being near.

The hope of seeing you.

Out of all the things we could do.

Your lips on mine.

The sudden lies.

I thought it was true.

I thought I knew you.

I thought that it would last.

It all went by so fast.

I smelled the perfume.

I saw all the things you chose to do.

I just couldn't understand why.

All I wanted was to try.

Walking away.

I now see.

We're both going downwards.

I don't want it.

I don't want to be.

Your little angel anymore.

I don't want to see.

Your face anymore.

We're both heading downards.

It's easy to tell.

We both have fell.

We both played the wrong cards.

So goodbye to you.

I'm done being true.

Goodbye is the truth.

I never loved you.

AAAAAWWW this was really SAD but SSSSOOOOOOOOO good. I really liked this and all the emotion in it. But what i really liked is that alot of girls/women can relate to this nicely done. This was a really good first poem.
