The poison you put upon me.
The one I drink everyday that comes from your lips.
The taste is overwhelming, but the outcome is danger.
This poison.
This speechless life.

Lips sealed and stitched,

Closed to every word ever spoken.

Broken without a choice,

Trying to find my voice.

This taste, this sound,

It brings back memories I never had.

Scars so deep,

They can never heal.

These screams are unheared,

These wants are pushed away.

The voices that have been trapped in your spell,

Fight against every little thing you say.

This poison that you have put in,

Has infected all the things around us.

It has infected me,

It has infected you.

The mastermind behind the masterpiece,

Broken and drained like all the rest.

The picture behind the frame,

Locked unable to escape.

Eyes of amber and lips of roses,

Sweet and soft, delicate and warm.

Taste oh so strong,

Darkness has engulfed me into nothingness.

Lies spoken from lips so honest,

Poison coming from the heart so true.

Death coming from life so full,

Love coming from no one at all.

Sweet poison,

This speechless mouth of mine has finally been opened.

Screams of anguish and pain erupt into the sky of your home,

And no longer are you trapped behind your own door.

Swaying in winds ever so slightly,

The key to the door was just right there in your hand.

Choosing to win with something you never had,

And only in that attempt did you lose.

No longer trapped,

No longer poisoned.

These speechless lips of mine,

Have finally been opened.
