Consuming us into darkness.
We wait.
We watch.
Into the night.

A shallow pool of water stirs,

With the presence of another raindrop.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

Under the moonlight,

It casts a reflection.

The nightly glow,

On the waters face.

.

The stars come out,

Shining brighter than the moon itself.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

Under the darkness,

Rooftops shatter with thousands of sparks.

Opening the people to what is really there,

And not what their eyes see.

.

Kisses showered upon her cheeks,

Smothering her in love never made.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

A continous feeling,

So real it's almost tangible.

Its infallible acts,

Blooms flowers among the dry fields.

.

The hearts of the world,

Are open and waiting.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

The fire burning deep in your eyes,

Burns everything that comes around her.

And yet she does not understand,

For the light has vanished.

.

This life that she has,

Awakens her to the very core.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

Your eyes on her always,

Watching her every move.

Yet her weak and fragile heart,

Does not awake anymore.

.

She is hanging off of a cliff,

And your hand is reaching, grabbing.

But the tears from these eyes,

Continue to fall.

.

I don't ever think,

She'll realize the truth.

That those tears that fall,

Will always be for you.
