Appearances can be deceiving...

The little girl holding onto her dad.

The couple holding hands.

Oh how I wish I was them.

The mother and daughter shopping.

The friends hanging out.

They have it so easy.

Just by looking at somebody

You can tell what they are like.

What do people see when they look at me?

Just another girl taking up space?

Somebody who doesn’t belong?

Or just another cutter who has no future?

Sometimes appearances can be wrong.

You don't know who they are,

You don't know their life...

Maybe that little girl hates her dad.

Maybe that couple’s relationship is a lie.

Maybe that mother and daughter can’t stand

each other.

Maybe those “friends” are the school sluts.

And maybe I’m just a girl who wants her pain

to be totally

and completely gone.

Well done.
Thank You,
