It's dark and you're home alone. You're lying in you're bed still awake. You can't sleep. You get hot so you get up and open the window across your room to help cool you off. You lay back down on your bed. Opening the window didn't do much since you're sleeping under your blanket. You always sleep under your blanket no matter how hot or cold you are. It gives you a sense of confort but you don't know why. You forgot about me a long time ago but I haven't forgotten about you. I watch you every night. Sometimes I watch you from outside, sometimes I watch you from the corner of your room, sometimes from the ceiling and sometimes I watch you from the foot of your bed. You can't see me anymore. You used to when you were a kid though. I am, how would you say this, an Old Friend. But you used to call me a Monster. I played a game with you, where you would try to sleep and I Haunted you. You were real good at it then. I would come this close to grabbing you and taking your body as my vesil into this world, but you always woke up just in time to save yourself. You can't see me anymore but I'm still there. I'm the God of the Mind, the god of your mind. I am the Parasite deep within you begging to be freed. We are The Infection that every human carries within themselves that gives you Perfect Insanity. We give you what you call The Animal insinct that you use when your Warrior insticts take over; anger, hate, Avarice, violence and pain. We are the Voices that give you Conflict in your head when you try to force yourself not to do something horrible. We are the feeling you get when you rebel and all your Ten Thousand Fists are in the air. You humans want us to Liberate you from us, but what you don't know is that you need us. Without us, Hell would take over you humans and chaos will Rise. You are Guarded by us. But then again we are the opposite. We are The Curse your born with, we are Pain Redifined. We are the creatures you Run and hide from us in Fear in The Night. We are the feeling you get when you are Stricken with Intoxication. We are A Welcome Burden to you, an Idestructable Serpentine of Darkness. I'm everywhere. I watch you as you struggle to sleep. I decide to play that game again. You hear the sound of my foot stepsteps. You hear as they stop behind you by your bed as you lay there. You fall Numb facing the wall now that you can't hear the footsteps anymore. You stay there and shut your eyes tightly hoping that sleep overcomes you. You Want to sleep so badly. It doesn't work, you still can't sleep. You hesitate. You turn around. You meet my face seeing my Dehumanized glowing red eyes and my ear to ear grin showing my thousands of sharp teeth. Now, Sickened, you Remember everything. At This Moment, Two Worlds meet as my eyes burn through your soul. As you Sacrifice your Innocence to me My Child, your soul is Torn from its vesil, your spirit once Bound to its body, Devides from it's body. You die Down with the Sickness Inside the Fire. You're Mine, it's your turn to be Living after Midnight. It's just Another Way to Die. I Devour the Remnants of your spirit and Awaken. I Breathe. I've finally won The Game.
