I was inspired, I'm not sure by what, exactly. Just writing poetry, I guess.

The alphabet has faces; the letters are the races,

Not races as in skin, but races as in the paces of traces of the ink in hand.

The words, strung together like laces, form an image of many places,

Like cosmic twilight spaces the phrases send us.

So much rhyming! I'm impressed that still it all work together and there's no incredibly stumbling over it. And only 'race's is repeated. Pretty good. I enjoyed the meaning, though somewhat ambiguous, in this. It was a good poem.
