Eh..about how i dispise preppy girls. -_- I named this poem popular gilrs becuz it's almost used to double guess the label we put with PREPPY girls. They cant be called popular, they dont deserve to be called popular, because if they were, everyone would love them, and almost noone does. I guess a poem based on an opinion that most of us share, or atleast i would hope :o haha please tell me if you liked it =) + I give credit to ambersea on deviantart for the digital pic.

Popular, a word that tastes bitter on my lips,

Those girls whose jeans must stay somewhere below their hips.

Why not any other word that would be defined as fake?

They would still look good if they combed their hair with a rake.

A label they consider well deserved, and for this they are proud.

And as they talk, oh no, they cant be quiet, it's a law that they must be loud.

Whose reputation would be in jeopardy if it soared any lower than the rest,

Whose shirts must be worn so low about their chest.

Yet inside, they are nowhere as special as you and me.

We dont need what they have to be filled with glee.

We neither fake a friendship, or go behind our friend's back

We have respect for others; respect for ourselves, and this my friend, is something that they lack.

How bad their label fits them, they will never know,

Because they are living their lives on a soap opera show.

Regarded with affection toward someone/thing is the definition of popular

Theres none of them who fits this definition, because theres none this spectacular.
