She sat there on the computer doing nothing.Nothing.Her life was full of nothing these days. Nothing, after nothing, after nothing. She could tell you exactly the outline of her day right down to when she brushed her teeth. She was so frustratingly tired of the nothing. She wanted to tell nothing to go shove its self up boredom’s ass. What was the cause of this nothing?Nothing but the switches and cogs of society slowly strangling her free spirit to death. She was stuck in a daily routine that was slowly draining at her very existence. She was stuck. She was stuck because of school. (One can never lead a successful life without graduating college) She was stuck because of her parents. (They want there dear old daughter to be safe and successful, in the process not realizing they were slowly chipping away at her very existence) She was stuck because society. Realizing she could not escape the stronghold of society’s grip, (or survive outside of it) she tried her best to live on the outskirts of it. But still, it was slowly, painfullykilling her.She could stand no longer the complete dullness one finds when integrated into society. She told herself she must be patient, for one day she will break free. For nights on end she wished she could escape. Escape. Anywhere but here. Anywhere but this torturous hell hole she called home. Some days she wished she could find a lonesome mountain top just to scream her guts out onto, until the earth quaked from her emotion.Ah... to feel.Just to feel something—anything! She had not done in so long.In fact she had not felt for so long she began to wonder if she could feel at all.She tries sometimes—to feel the passion.Feel the real, true passion—but she can only ever come up with a cheap petty version. She had not felt for so long, she is not sure, but she thinks she has lost herself. Lost the person she once was.Shemust havemisplaced herself along the long, dark, unchanging and unforgivingroad. She is restless, and filled with all these emotions that she cannot contain much longer, yetshe knows shemust content herself to the fact that one dayshe will be free. One day—however far away that may seem.
