this is a short story i wrote, it is not Fiction, however, i am to this day unaware of the true details. Its about a certain situation that i lived with for a long time, the one i love also loved someone else, and this story is just my interpretation about everyone's feelings in the situation. I didn't think when i wrote this, i didn't even plan to write this story, i just felt like writing and it came out on paper, i am really really hoping for comments, i want to know how it turned out and what everyone thought. please :)

He leaned in one more time to kiss her goodbye, tears rolling down her face. She cried  not only because he was leaving, but because she knew where he was going, she knew what he was going to do, and at that moment there was absolutley nothing she could do about it.

He pulled out of the drive way. Whether he looked back or not, she will never know, but he drove away. He drove back to the place he temporarily called home. he had to since they lost everything. She moved back in with her parents, and he came back here, a place he never was supposed to be. He walked in the door and there she was, still beautiful, eyes still hopeful,  hair still his favorite shade. It was as if she had never moved, like she waited all weekend in that spot just for him. He looked over at her and sighed, his shoulders sagging and his eyes dropping to the floor. His phone was going off but he didnt bother to answer it. He knew what was on the other line:Sadness, hurt, and distrust. He took off his shoes and with a big hurtful sigh, sank into his spot on the couch, he lights a ciggarette and stares blankly out the sliding glass door. She tried to talk to him, to tell him she missed him and she was glad he came back. He just ignores her and continues to look out the door. He doesnt know how he got here. He had finally found happiness, but it was no longer with that girl across from him. Everything he has is breaking, breaking beyond repair. It was a repair he was sure he could fix, but now, as her broken eyes burn his heart with a perfectly broken memory he will not soon forget, he is not sure he can fix it. He knows she knows. He knows she knows everything, but he refuses to believe it. How could someone know so much but at the same time have no idea?

He felt her head rest on his chest, the chest that no longer belonged to her. He jerked away startling her, causing tears to well up in her eyes, his actions never made sense to her he was always so hot and so cold. He caught her stare and sighed, stretching his arm out to her and pulling her back on his chest, the smell of her flowery perfume catching him off guard. He squeezes her tighter, he knows this is wrong, he knows what this is doing not only to him but to the two of them. He had been here with them once before. He had to make a choice:one or the other crushing them both in the process. Now here he was again, crushing them, though his choice had already been made. Although, at this moment he was not so sure. Her hair smelled so good, better than he remembered, her skin still so pale and so soft. Passion and anger coursed through his veins, this may be wrong, but at this moment he was certain that what he wanted was to feel her lips against his, her body trembling in his arms, and he did not care. He did not care about the teary green eyed girl waiting to hear him say those three words, he did not care about the half smoked ciggarette burning in the ash tray, he did not care who it hurt, he did not care who heard or who saw, this was what he wanted he was sure of it. He tangled his strong yet gentle hands up in her hair and he kissed her, gently at first but the more he felt her lips and inhaled her smell, the more aggressive he became. He sighed deeply in between kisses, each one getting more and more intense. She grabs him tighter, telling herself this time she will not let go, she will keep him here forever. his phone went off again, and his eyes shot open, it was like a gun had went off in his head. He pulled away and quickly answered his phone. He could hear the tears and the fear in the trembling voice, she needed him. His heart swelled with love and devotion, though his heart also ached for what he had just done, he drove the stake deeper into tall three of their hearts. He spoke softly through the phone trying to calm her. He knew where he had to be, and it was not here. He got up, after quickly finishing his ciggarette, he put on his shoes and grabbed his car keys. He hesitated as he reached the door but did not look back. Without a word he left,. running to her, leaving his past behind, alone in a empty house, crying empty tears.
