soo sad

As I do this deed,

trying to fulfill a need,

As I try to find,

the right thoughts in this twisted mind.

As I plant this seed,

the need to feed,

upon your love,

catastrophies wrought from above.

Catastrophies upon me,

a poor little tree,

in a windswept plain,

wracked with lonliness and pain.

Stricken by doubt,

pain from without.

Why is it she,

that causes the hurt within me?

As I stop and fight

to free myself from this blight,

this thing called society,

and all the things trying to get me.

Big, huge, monstrous things,

Furry, scaley, things with wings.

things that sting, things that bite,

lucky for me, I don't feel fright.

All these things in my mind,

twisting, turning, trying to find

the cause of all this pain,

inside my crazy brain.

As I look and try to find

a reason not to leave this world behind,

Lo and Behold,

a friend neither cruel nor bold.

Quite easy to seek,

for she is not meek,

this most wonderful friend I find,

in the convoluted corridors of my mind.

In my mind,

I seek and find,

the one who is there,

whose judgement is always fair.

Helping me to find my way

through this dark and dreary day,

dragging me to the light,

forced to stand the bright.

She took my heart,

and broke it apart

She threw it down

and stomped into the ground.

She that caused the pain

that I sought in my brain

the reason I tried to find

in my broken mind.

Another great poem! I love the part that says, "Catastrophies upon me, a poor little tree,
in a windswept plain, wracked with lonliness and pain."
You are very talented.

Excuse the cliché, but I have to say, you're deep! I admire those that can write poetry. I was never any good at it. Great imagery!
