Seasonal Dance

The wind picks up,

The clouds roll in,

The ground is coated in white.

Snowmen come to life,

Tobboggans race downhill,

And the snow dances with the wind,

Biting the faces of children.

_

Rain falls lightly,

Washing old snow away,

Fresh grass is coaxed from the ground.

New life blossoms,

Filling the world with youthful eminence,

And the robin dances through the trees,

Singing his melodious tune.

_

A campfire blazes,

People laugh light-heartedly,

Without a care in the world.

Crickets begin to chirp,

Birds are asleep in their nests,

And the moonlight dances through the sky,

Illuminating the warm night.

_

Cool winds arrive,

Birds are flying south,

Fleeing from the coming cold.

The trees change,

Radiating beautiful oranges and yellows,

And the wind dances with the leaves,

Showering the ground with color.

_

The Earth spins,

A continual orbit,

Bringing change to the land.

We welcome it,

We stare in wonder,

As our world dances around the Sun,

Giving life to the seasons.
