We feel desperate, to be loved.
We aren't desperate enough to love.
If we love, we have to open our selves up.
If we open up, we become afraid.
Afraid that they will look in and see the darkness in our hearts.
So we close our hearts.
We close our minds.
We become ignorant and selfish.
Despite the bitterness, you still long to be loved.
You still long to hold someone close.
The closer you want to feel, the more they push you away.
The darkness inside calls.
Telling you hurtful things.
You want to be loved?
What is love when you know hate?
If you rid yourself from the doubts and the hate, what is left?
It's there truth?
Is there love?
You can't simply rid yourself of these things.
Love and hate is in your nature.
One can't lay themselves bare, and say,
"These traits shall be gone from me!"
No, life does not work this way.
Life exhausts me- but life also fills me.
