Everything is cold and dull in the winter,
It reminds me of myself.
Everything is frozen,
I feel like I'm trapped in ice.

I can feel the chill in my bones,
Starting to make me feel numb.
Can't cry, tears froze.
Feeling empty.

My body feels heavy,
like your feet dragging in the snow.
Trying to make your way through the cold,
through the dark.

Your body is exhausted
You just want to crawl into your bed,
In the morning you struggle to get out.
No matter how warm it is,
you still feel cold.

I feel like the winter,
Maybe that's why I hate it.
