You taught me who I can be,
You taught me who my true friends are,
You taught me how much a person can cry,
You taught me how much a person can take,
You taught me how it feels to lose someone,
You taught me how to be strong,
You taught me to stand up.

Don’t say I used you, when you did it all the time,
Don’t say you want to be my friend, and then with only “cool” friends,
Don’t act like it’s a joke, because slowly I die inside,
Don’t say “sorry” and then take a re-run,
Don’t pretend like you like me, and then go behind my back and stab,
Don’t say you love me, because that would be another lie,
Don’t get mad, this is all true.
