Chains in your hands
You decide to come after me
Good thing its not real
Its only a nightmare you see

Thats not all though
In reality too
You stand at every door
And i try to see right through you

I hear chains clinking together
Each and every night
Only when I'm alone though
When my family is out of sight

I began to worry
Hoping I'm not insane
Its not my fault though
Lack of sleep is to blame

You see I'm only fifteen
Sleeping two hours each night
Waking to horrid dreams
Bruises because in reality i tried to fight

I don't go to school anymore
It was getting too hard to cope
See i fell asleep in class once
And woke up with scratches at my throat

Teachers and students
All thought i was insane
But little did they know
Lack of sleep was to blame
