I'm in my room

With the razor blade in hand.

I stare at my reflection in it.

I'm distorted looking...

Just like my mind and heart.

I shut my eyes and hold the blade to my arm

Right under wrist.

A chill goes thorugh my spine

And I feel a warm liquid fall, slowly, down to the other side of my arm.

My name is called

By my mommy.

I start to worry.

I pull down my sleeve and feel the blood smear all over.

Shhh

Don't tell mommy.

She'd hurt me worse

If she found out what I was still doing.

I saw your face again...

You said I looked different.

You said I was pale

And I had gotten skinnier.

I shove my hands in my pockets

And prick my finger with the pointed end of the blade.

I look at your eyes

And they sicken me.

I cringe a little

And bite my lip.

Shhh

Don't tell mommy

I look this way because of what i still do.

I was suppose to stop

A long time ago.

But once you start,

You can never stop...

And never go back.

Don't tell mommy.
