Why would you just stand there?
Or even walk right past?
Not even a glance at the broken,
Where your eyes ought to be cast.

Why do some say that
People like you are innocent?
You're just as guilty as
Whom these plagues were sent.

The beaten writhing on the ground.
All you had to do was give them your hand,
And help them struggle up
So they can finally stand.

I know its not because you're heartless.
You prefer to stay with the masses.
Waiting for someone to step in first,
But also until the abandoned collapses.
