As I wake up from my bed

And my eyes stay concealed

I get up from the dead

And let the aglow be unsealed.

Walking with palliate

And feeling all around

I know this as my fate

And am familiar with the sound.

As I go about my day

And people ask me how

What makes me not be fey

What was my oath; my vow?

I tell them all

As I tell you now

I am a blind man

With sight.
