This is a poem I wrote to be read at my funeral. Enjoy! =)

I Find You, Here, In Death

I find you, here, in Death

With no voice to make words

It’s caressed it’s last breath

Though not what you deserved

You won the race we walked,

With life lost in the win

So now we pay the cost

For what’s considered “sin”

So it’s in Hell we burn

With hands just out of reach

With love, and love returned

My Lord, to my face, Preach

I think this is a wonderful thing, if those who do not know you as a deep person in life will understand you are in death.

I love the balance between leaving those who you have affection for atonement and facing the final truth. Whatever that is.

Let me know would you when you get there.
