In My Heart’s Garden

My heart is a garden

Kept crisp and clean

Beautiful, captivating and pristine

Each ornamental has earned its place

But you are a weed in the nutrient race

But as a weed, you bother me

But I am the gardener, leaving you be.

So you survived, you kept up pace

You can stop trying, you’ve earned your place.
