My Soul To Nothing Bound

My soul to nothing bound,

I have but one request.

For my feet to leave the ground,

And fly to mothers nest

It’s there I see the past

Through clear as crystal eyes,

My still heart holds me fast.

My soul’s perching hope dies.

The quiet waters fill me,

Hollow as I am.

Screaming fires grill me.

They take me as I am.
