Silence Bells

My life consisted of,

Waiting for death to come

And take me to the land

Where silence bells are rung

I will die to live forever,

Perhaps, in death, we’ll be together

The Earth and I walk arm in arm

Living no life, causing no harm.

And with each breath I take from her,

I keep it for my own,

But one day, soon, I will return

As life is but on loan.
