It was just another ordinary day when I got the package. It started as it usually did, with me waking up and brushing my teeth. Then I got my morning coffee going and went outside to get a breath of fresh air. It was still dark due to how early it was, and the breeze was going strong. Not too weak, but strong enough to be comfortable. The Sun was now just struggling to climb over the horizon. The smell of fresh coffee filled my nose, so I headed back inside to get get it. I poured the coffee into a mug and then headed to my room again, intending on reading a book. That's when I heard a knock on the door. A loud, pounding smack of knuckles on the hardwood door. It was so loud and aggressive, you would have thought that the door had done something to the knocker! So I went to go and see what all this commotion was about. When I pulled open the door, there was nobody there. What there was though, was a giant square box. It looked squashed, as though somebody had dropped a boulder on it. Bewildered, I stepped over it to get a good look at it. Written across the side of the box were three letters. You. That's when I felt a sharp stinging in my neck. The last thing I remember was a deep, guttural laugh.

It looks like the MC's day just got worse, lol. Neat little story though. It reminds me of the slasher horror movies that we watch during sleepovers or movie nights. :)
