Our World: A Poem

What is our world like today? What would an ideal world be like?

By culprit's hand the arrow flies

Don't think twice but once deny

Deck of cards, queen of hearts

Gambling away, racking up debt

Survival of the fittest, dog eat dog

Words to live by in the land of fog

Line across paper a dark abyss

She who you have missed

Plagues and prosperity

One and the same

History repeats in massive quantity

The lion shalt not be tame

Religions and races

Language and places

Personality and faces

One and the same

Hunger and pain

Disappear like the rain

Peace and prosperity

Love in great quantity

I like the build up from the woes of the world, to the equality of everything and then Utopia!
