Flashbacks
I lay down and look up at the sky, I see clouds in
Different shapes and that’s when the flashbacks begin
To replay in my mind It reminds me of past events.
The sharp cold wind against my face reminds me of
How cold people can be and as the clouds
Change
I think to myself that things can change,
And so can people if there really willing
Not everything is written in stone
Flashbacks of my childhood memories,
Flashbacks of all the good times with my friends
Flashbacks of the times were things weren’t always
Perfect
Flashbacks to the great moments with my family
Flashbacks to someone I trust with my life
Other than my family
I remember when I was a kid and I pictured
Clouds as various things like it looks like a lion
Or it looks like two people hugging
Sometimes flashbacks can be good things,
They don’t always have to be imperfect
And although I had a few tough times I can
Say that my flashbacks were pretty good
It just shows you to keep your head up high
Flashbacks, Flashbacks, Flashbacks as I
Repeat the same word over and over again
And recall all the good times and bad times
