I wrote this one day in Biology class. I put the first two lines of the first stanza down and thought, "What the hell am I writing?" but kept writing. I wrote the first two lines of the second stanza and thought again, "What am I writing?!" but kept writing. I decided in the third stanza I shouldn't be so dark. Enjoy.

I cut the bullet in two

Just so I could die with you

Pointed the barrel to our heads

Taken by the sadness fed

There's no light in this place

I can't feel the warm embrace

Though with you right by my side

I feel everythings fine

That's why I cut the bullet apart

So you'd stay near my heart

I gave you half the poison

Now your mouth will never moisten

They watched our bodies fall down

And on their heads they bore a crown

How many times have they shot us?

I lost count, but it's heinous

And we always ran away

To be found the next day

So I gave you some of the drink of death

And together we shared our last breath

Though I'd rather be alive than dead

What goes on in my morbid head

All require thoughts of you

How I want to make it through

Will you at least stay right here

Pushing away all this fear

Cause you're always in my heart

And I don't ever want to part.
