I wrote this about what happens at my house and how I feel nothing is ever fair here and how my mom doesn't really see what happens when she's not here.

I only wish for peace

For quietness and release

My heart was only taken

From a house that is broken

No one understands me

No one seems to see

Why I've grown reclusive

From a house that's so abusive

The fear that rises inside

Comes from my broken pride

Listening to al lthe fights

From an angry house every night

I hide but nothing works

Our tears will always lurk

And nothing can revive

From the house that takes lives

Raging screams and flowing tears

Only build from all the years

You're stricken down, denied your right

In the house that loves to fight

No one will remember

All those torn up letters

"Mom, I really can't live here"

From a house that creates fear

Happiness has been denied

Don't make comments way too snide

You'll only wake the sleeping king

In the house banning everything

Stay away from everything

No, in this house you can't sing

I always hide away from you

In the house that murders truth

I'd leave but I can't go

To me this house is not a home

But this is how I share

In a house where no one cares
