Between then and now

Hope for the midnight Moon to light my sadness.  Since you left, I have not seen the light.

Drag my heart along the ground until you come back to give me light again.  Yesterday came and went without seeing what was to come.

A fool poking through darkness trying to build tomorrow from yesterday's shadows.

unmasked delusions

For me it was a great message about being stuck in one place and trying to move on- but still holding on to the past. Well worded, good job.
