Hold the other end of this will you?
My inspiration has been drained.
Awake, but tired again, it's a
Struggle just to make it through the day.
I need so much
I want nothing
I need the help of a dozen trained professionals,
Sitting, staring, analyzing my every breath.
Can It get better before it gets worse?
"It can always get worse" that's what I have been told.
THAT is the scariest fucking thing anyone has ever said to me.
My life is a pain kaleidoscope,
A pharmaceutical buffet line
Approaching the dessert cart
Just looking for a stronger rope.
I am surrounding myself with depression
I bathe in it every morning and kiss it with an open
Mouth before I fall asleep... It is the only thing I have
That stays constant.......... I will miss it when its gone

Sun, December 17th, 2006 10:19pmYou've captured many of the emotions very well.
(I have written similarly on this topic in some of my poems too....Painful subject, all to familiar, but it does bring out the poet)
Well written. I'll be keeping my eye out for more of your writing!
You had me at the first line, and certainly kept my attention throughout. Pessimism and depression have surely given you inspiration in this one. Well done, I liked it.

Great and powerful way of capturing an emotion/time in your life you can only understand if you have been there
its good.. is so depressing and pessimistic.. fuckin insane. thats a very cool thing.

Really like the kaleidoscope bit - really like the end of it all together...

Thanks.
Thu, December 14th, 2006 3:27amAs long as I get one, maybe two good lines out of a poem I'm happy. The goal of course is to make one really good one. I haven't even come close yet but the best part is trying.
