Enslaved like a prisoner by the barriers of my mind
Living beneath these walls, I cannot breathe
--
My soul, begs to be free
Free from all the hollowness, the suffocation and the grief
--
My heart, aches for reasons I know not
So cold, I hardly feel anything
--
My thoughts, couldn't be any darker than this
The silent screams, I keep hearing them
\\--
My scars, still fresh on my wrist
A constant reminder that the past is real
--
My memory, a series of blurred images
There is just no line between the thorns and the roses
--
My mind, so lost
I don't even remember, how long I have been living like this.
--
I try to run, but can never escape
My prison, I am in it for a lifetime
