There comes a time when we must revive archaic poetry for the sake of rhyme and reason.
Lithe means thin, supple or graceful.
Blithe means happy.
A hithe is a small port or dock.

Passion concealed

Alas, how lonely I often feel,

As before the throne I willingly kneel,

But my heart’s a seal

My dreams conceal,

Years from my life I’d willingly peel,

Despite the lies, my truth is real.

So now to end my life,

Cold and alone upon the knife,

My time is lithe

Yet quite blithe,

To do my duty behind the fife

Sailing off from the lonely hithe.
