My tears drop to the floor
like rain upon this patio
do they hear my cries in the night
or am I just another worthless sight

alone I stand in this blackened ground
my heart beating is the only sound
I sit with a rose upon my lap
I quietly lay down for a nap

the crows a cawing in the trees
waiting for one last meal today
the wolves cry at the sound of screams
as my mind takes me on a journey

a lonely wolf comes to my side
my pain I do try to quickly hide
I lay there waiting for it to go
torture is all my mind seems to know

quietly I drift into a dreary dream
only to be awaken by a scream
the blood flows down the wolfs mane
as I lay there flooded with pain
