The flowers cry,

The wind seems to scream.

My heart seems to fly;

Nothing's stopping me.

The grass pulls at my feet,

The branches reach out with a plea.

I laugh at their attempts,

And pull myself free.

The stars try to blind me,

But I blink and am freed,

The leaves try to bind me,

But I ignore their plea.

Mother Nature doesn't want me

To set my heart free.

But Mother Nature doesn't realize

How stubborn I can be.

My meadow is desperate,

It tries to grab hold of me,

And when I swallow the pills,

It sobs and it screams.

I stare at the moon,

I reach for the sky.

My heart is stopping so soon,

And with that

I die.
