The Man I Murdered
So there I stood
Facing the man
The very man that had ruined my family
The very man who was now cowering from fear
The very man that had taken away my sister's childhood
The man who took her from teen to mother
The very man I hated
How I hated him with a passion
You may say I don't
But I do
Oh yes, I do
I hate him
He stares into my eyes
His own wide with fear
I smile and walk closer
My fingers never leave the trigger
I walk closer as he cowers away
He finds himself trapped between me and a wall
I raise the gun and aim
"No!", He pleads"Don't do this!"
My reply comes deathly quiet
"Die, you monster, die."
And with that I pull the trigger
He slumps forward holding his chest
Never again shall I feel hate so strong
Never again shall I be afraid of him
That man can never again screw up my life
He shall never return to disrupt our peace
He shall never follow me again
Nor will he make me paranoid
He can no longer taunt me
For he is the man I murdered
