The room was dark. I was shivering. I could feel the coldness of brass chains around my hands. They were restraining me from going anywhere if it wasn't within 3 feet of me. The floor was cement. It was rough and cold. I tried to feel around. There was nothing. I kept quiet hoping I could hear something. As minutes past by, I heard nothing. I was beginning to become frantic. Where was I? How did I get here? Thoughts were overloading my head as I heard noises. It almost sounded like a girl screaming in the distance. The more I tried to listen, the less I could hear. My body began shaking from being cold and scared. I started to drift off to sleep. I wanted to leave this place.
There was banging in the room. It sounded like it was getting closer and closer.  I awoke. I opened my eyes to see a girl in the room. She looked around 15, my age. She was crying and banging against the door.
"Shh." I warned her.
She didn't respond. She continued banging.
"Shh! Be quiet." I said a little louder, hearing footsteps outside the door.
She banged louder, sobbing.
"Be quiet! Stop! Someone is coming." I said, almost yelling.
As she started banging louder, someone entered the room.
He looked at me.
"That you makin' all that noise?" He asked as he walked towards me.
I tried crawling backwards.
"No!" I said panicked as I hit a wall.
He reached out for me.
I awoke to my beeping alarm clock. I was sweating. I opened my eyes to see I was in my room. It was just a dream. I quickly shut off my alarm clock and threw off my blanket, hoping I could get ready for school in time.
