Back Again
Hello readers!
It's been a year since I've been on this site. A lot has changed: I work full time as a mental health peer counselor, still attend classes, and moved back home temporarily. I haven't been writing fiction as much as I should.
I am bringing new stories to the table, however. I also write on ThePhilosophicalPsychotic.com, a site dedicated to mental health and psychosis advocacy.
Thank you for all the reads and support even while I was absent. My new social media is:
@written_in_the_photo on Instagram
and
@philopsychotic on Twitter .
I look forward to being an active participant in this community again.

About
From a young age, writing was a way for me to express myself in words when my voice was silent. Fiction allows me to transcend the physical realm and enter the metaphysical, without any fancy science or conception of what might be reality and what might not be.
As a career, I am a peer counselor for a Peer Respite house. I am someone who still writing their mental health journey, dancing through delusions, hopping alongside hallucinations, dipping into a pool of dissociation, entranced by emotional flashbacks, doing Olympic-like aerobics with anxiety. My mental health and wellness writing has been featured on Thought Catalog, Mogul, Mad In America, and my own website Mental Truths.
My goal is to become a published writer in some facet. As I work on perfecting my novel, which will never be perfected in actuality, I like to write short stories and most recently, poems, as a way to keep my creative juices flowing. Please feel free to leave constructive criticisms and comments, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by.
