After quite awhile I'm back on Booksie, but I had a good excuse as to why I was gone. I was in jail on charges I rather not get into for now. It seems most of those who were my readers are now long gone and hopefully on to other things. I'm going to get back to writing eventually but in the meantime I'm just going to browse and read you guy's stories. Send me a request and I'll take a look, okay?
So for those new to me, hello and welcome to my world. Enter at your own risk! LOL!
I'm 24 years old and have held a variety of jobs in my life. I’ve been at one time or another a retail clerk, telemarketer, inventory worker, survey taker, waitress, hostess, food server, bar tender, dancer (stripper), and an escort. (Which is just a fancy word meaning ‘Ho, and yeah, I’m not proud of what I did, but it helped pay the bills at a time in my life when I was broke and desperate).
I've also been in rehab several times for alcohol and drug abuse. (Rehab, btw, is total Bullshit!)
There are alot of personal issues in my life that are very hard for me to discuss and some that I won't discuss at all. I tell you this not for you to feel sorry for me. I’ve pitied myself too many times on my own and let me tell you it's a trap! Pity parties fucking suck!!
Anyway, in one of my rehab therapy sessions I was told to write a story. I did and it seemed to help by allowing me to pour out my emotions. My counselor said I had some talent and should continue.
I used to write feverishly, then just toss my stories out because I really thought my writing sucked big time. One day my sister and her now ex-boyfriend read some of my stories and said they were pretty good and I should show someone. I didn’t know who until someone mentioned this place. So here I am!
You can see I’m very open and honest. My friends often say I’m too honest for my own good, but didn’t someone once say honesty is the best policy?
