/ MY NEW NOVEL. JUST FOLLOW THE LINK: John Handful is an ex-cop private detective, living in a Suffolk seaside town. He’s asked to help out the local police when Archie Andrews collapses and dies while taking his shopping from his car to his house. Part of a tangled web of relationships, the dead man’s partner is John’s ex, Kimberley. The dead man is also the estranged husband of a client of John’s. Was it murder, or was it death by natural causes?

John is just starting out on a new relationship with Kira, a pathologist, but still smarting from his recent split up with Kimberley and before that the loss of his wife Zoe to leukaemia. So the novel mixes up a detective story with romance, making it a nicely-paced read. This is a good detective novel, which I can recommend
