"Insanity: Chapter 1" is posted

Third time's the charm!

After two failed attempts, I was able to successfully upload Insanity: Chapter 1 on my Booksie profile. I have been putting this story together for nearly a month and a half now, and to see it coming together in chapter's writing really makes me feel great. Chapter 2 is about halfway to completion, but it will be uploaded on November 10, one chapter every Saturday until the story is completed.

Technical Difficulties halting posting of Insanity: Chapter 1

I have attempted to upload the first chapter of Insanity twice this morning, and each time, something has gone wrong. I will continue to try until it is posted.

"Insanity: Chapter 1," moved to November 3.

Due to some technical difficulties, as well as some editing that still needs to take place, "Insanity: Chapter 1," has been moved to tomorrow, Nov. 3.

"Insanity: Chapter 1," will be released on November 1, 2018

Due to the sudden change of "Insanity," becoming a novella, rather than a short story, chapter one will be published on my Booksie profile on November 1, 2018.

A new short story, "Insanity," coming out in November!

Derek Paradis is a 21-year-old college undergraduate suffering as a social outcast from not only his own family but the rest of the world as well. He's never been able to hold a job, and his grades in school have dropped tremendously since March. However, it turns out that Derek has made a new friend in his courses, one that, if people recognize, will label "insane."

Coming November 2018

Excerpt Out Now!

I know I am a day early, but the excerpt is fully edited, and is available to read now!

"The Man Beside The River," excerpt, coming 10/25/2018

Perhaps one of the most important writing pieces I have ever had the pleasure of being behind, "The Man Beside The River," is a work-in-progress full-length non-fiction book centering around the suspicious death of my grandfather, Patrick Allen Murray, who was found in the Arkansas River on June 21, 2006. Though written off as "accidental," there are multiple pieces of key evidence that suggest he was the victim of foul play, including a woman who knew Patrick telling my mother at his funeral, that she overheard a woman confess to "robbing and killing," a homeless man. Due to history between my family and the law enforcement agency, no real effort was put into his investigation. Since April 2018, I have launched my own private investigation in hopes of finally finding some answers. The book will cover each and every step of the investigation from the beginning, as well as explore the different theories as to what really happened. Though the book is still in the beginning stages, I will post an excerpt on my Booksie profile on October 25. The full-length book will be released sometime in early 2020, through Amazon.

"The Tears I Fell Unconscious on," a new poem, out now.

Three new works of writing, "Snowstorm," "Kimberly," and "The Tears I Fell Unconcious On," are out now!

300 Reads! Thank you!

I may not have a YouTube channel with millions of devoted fans, but I am truly grateful that my work has garnered the eyes of three-hundred people. Thank you.

Kimberly, a new short story by Andrew Patterson, out now!

After nearly a month of waiting, "KIMBERLY," is finally here, and I am so excited for everyone to read it!

Profile Information

This is my second Booksie account, my first one was under "Andrew David," and had close to ten-thousand reads. With this "new and improved," account, I hope to bypass that number, but in all reality, I just want to publish the stories and poems that I conjure up in my mind. I'm twenty-years-old, and I dabble in poetry, non-fiction essay's on the issues that captivate our world, as well as mystery stories as well. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Gillian Flynn, Jodi Picoult, and Wally Lamb, all are simply amazing authors who deserve every ounce of recognition they receive. I am currently a college undergraduate in my third semester, where I am majoring in journalism. In addition to being a full-time cashier, I also work as a stringer writer for the small newspaper here in my town, called "The Coffeyville Journal." Writing has always been an escape for me; a place to dive into the limitless possibilities of my own imagination. Please, do read my work, and leave whatever feedback you desire, and I will be sure to do the same. - AP
