Profile Information

I am layered:  writer, philosopher, historian, poetess, editor, artist, dreamer, wanderer. I like capturing interesting life experiences and relating new contemplations through words. Existence is like a subjective tapestry, some scenes yet loosely woven. There is stark beauty coiling in consciousness; a contemplative playground awaiting creation. Let us approach boldly - with open minds -  the churning possibilities. "Think.Create.Evolve."

I graduated Fairmont State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, minors English and Philosophy. Currently attending American Public University System, I am scheduled to graduate 15 August 2016 upon completion of the thesis capstone project with a Master of Arts in the Humanities. Writing the thesis is a stimulating experience, and I am hopeful for publication. MTF. Regardless, the thesis inspired additional topics of interest. Graduate studies opens a whole new platform for flourishing creative thought -- I encourage others to chase education.

In efforts of broadening my scope of writing, I spent ninety-days with as an editorial intern and music journalist. While the majority of the writing was curation, I looked for creative areas of expression. Through interview and album reviews, I successfully shared philosophical values with a popular culture audience. Music acts as a foot-bridge, uniting humanity through collective effervescence. Fascinated, I watched sociological theory expressed in reality through music. Very cool<>.

My current research interests include the nineteenth-century, aesthetics, consciousness, evolution, literature, optimism, and quantum theory. Works shared here may also be posted on my website, which includes a weekly 100 word writing challenge called "Friday Fictioneers" (hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields) for fun.

I love reading and workshopping with fellow authors. While working on my undergrad, I was an editor for Whetstone and a proofreader for Kestrel, both literary journals of Fairmont State University. I aim for the position of lecturer at university in Denver, Colorado. I cannot wait to share the journey of education with students, exploring reality with fresh minds. There is always more to learn...
