Antoine A Raphael, native of Haiti, began his career as a lawyer, a French professor and an editorialist. He was later on hired by Zaire Department of Education, in Africa, to teach French and philosophy. In 1970, he came to USA. He pursued graduate studies of philosophy at Queens College, Queens, NY, and at Fordham University, Bronx, NY. He is a bilingual writer. He is the author of "The Haitian Drama, history taking the wrong turn", "Le Drame Haitien", "Big Ninny's Home", "La Maison de Nini", "Le Reve", "Mutual Discovery, at the end of the tunnel", "Voodoo within the boundaries of the Law", "The Young Wise Man". "Harmony and Contrast, the female impact, book 1 and 2".

He is retired from New York Civil Services. He settles in Baltimore, Maryland, with his wife, Pricilia.
